new works produced by Pupa Press – lo fi, pop-up books opening to large-scale images – the book opening is a one-off happening at 2.30pm – afterwards the images are hand-held or pinned to the wall

Artists SUSAN JOHANKNECHT & ALVA MacKENZIE, KATE SCRIVENER, FINLAY TAYLOR, HIROMI TSHUA, ELI ZAFRAN, working to a tight deadline, have made these new works responding to landscape.

SUSAN JOHANKNECHT curated CUNNING CHAPTERS, a collaborative book project that recently won the Yale University’s Purchase Prize. Finlay Taylor’s work was selected for the 2009 Northern Print Biennale.
