Thomas Gosebruch’s work is an ongoing adventure with line. The arching, flowing, fluid lines of his new works – amoeba-like black forms floating and moving across the white translucent paper – are a sensual interpretation of physical energy. “Distill my work down and it’s all about sex”, he comments - and the more you look at his work, the more you notice intersecting forms. The dance of sexuality between humans, with its teasing dramas and interplay of control and release, is explored pictorially and in three dimensions. Although Gosebruch’s ceramic works can be called sculptures, they are also a means of taking line drawings into another dimension
