FLORA PARROTT | CIRCUIT: FIVE DEDUCTIONS

21 September - 22 October 2011

Flora Parrott’s work is distinguished by the way she assembles objects and images to respond to and represent physical sensations. Parrott employs a diverse range of media including velum, snail shells, rubber, lard, copper, gelatine and slate – experimenting to find textures and compositions that interact and resonate.

For Circuit: Five Deductions she created a circuit in the gallery space with five deductions, or shrine-like groupings – “little dynamics that mimic a sensation.”

CIRCUIT: FIVE DEDUCTIONS, a Tintype publication, accompanied the exhibition.
