Robin Richmond is a colourist and landscape painter. Her work is often about a place at a specific moment in time. Her technique is to build up layer upon layer of colour and texture, re-working and distilling the original source image. Her paintings seek to snare the elusive qualities of light and land and of the relationship between them.
