History

The gallery started life as WALL in a converted shop off Highbury Fields in 2008.

In December 2009, WALL became TINTYPE and started to represent artists.

The gallery moved to Redchurch Street in Shoreditch, East London in Spring 2010.

In July 2011 we re-located to St Cross Street in the Hatton Garden area of central London. Our gallery programme resumed in September with the solo show of Flora Parrott.

The directors are Teresa Grimes and Pat Treasure.
