Tintype Project Space 2011 An Gee Chan

7 February – 5 March 2011

Artist An Gee Chan used the gallery as a project space to create and present her stories in different media – prints, books, drawings and installations. Chan’s work is narrative based, influenced by what she observes around her, stories in the newspapers and by dreams.

On Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 February, An Gee Chan invited visitors to the gallery to contribute to the work.

26 February – 5 March An Gee Chan’s work was on display in the gallery.

An Gee Chan also created a mural on an exterior wall of the gallery on Redchurch Street. The launch for this was on the First Thursday evening 3 March. We were delighted to welcome acclaimed British artist Richard Wentworth as guest of honour.
