Not Her Real Name Alice Walton

8 May – 7 June 2014

Tintype is pleased to present Not Her Real Name, Alice Walton’s second solo-show at the gallery.

Alice Walton makes sculptural installations constructed to re-present images alongside geometric forms. Walton’s use of found images creates a frisson of recognition in which familiar works are configured as part of a larger experiment in visual language. With a quiet theatricality, the images are refracted and distorted – stagings of concealment and revelation.
