The Back of Your Head An Gee Chan

14 November – 15 December 2012

An Gee Chan’s large-scale monoprints and paintings convey an edginess that is both innocent and surreal. Akin to fairy-tales, they freeze-frame moments of doubt, insecurity and fear.

Chan has an instinctive way of composing stories with colour; her work on paper, canvas, hoardings and ceramics play with scale, mixing up small and large, real and fantastical.
